I started with a hand-drawn work flow. Rough sketches are a quick way for me to get thoughts rolling.

Reality

I used Overflow.com to see exactly what kind of steps / clicks / obstacles I had created by not paying attention to this aspect of my company’s website.

I discovered there was no easy path to buy other class packages. I was missing a variety of selling opportunities.

As a business owner I got bogged down in the weeds running the day-to-day operations. (Small business owners have to do everything from hiring to bookkeeping to social media, so understandably sometimes we lose the plot.)

Fix

The navigation went from 6 clicks to 2 in order to sell other, more lucrative products.

I created clear and direct call to action buttons to sell more lucrative products.

“Buy Now” buttons are now easier to find and appear more frequently.

Sales increased 37% immediately month-over-month.
